Lost followers

Hi guys i don't know if any of you have seen this, but apparently blogger is removing or removed all non Google accounts, so any one who follows you and doesn't use Google will disappear from your followers list, hence why i have lost loads and some have lost a lot more,
They would like us all to use Google, now i already do but have replied to them that i think making peeps do so just to follow some ones blog is terrible and certainly wouldn't make me join them just to do so,
I thought i'd pop this on here in case some one else hadn't seen the reason and didn't know like me till i asked blogger this morning!!!
SO NOT IMPRESSED!!!
Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think,
hugs Liz xx

I coloured this new to me gorgeous Aurora Wings digi Flower Ballerina with my copics,

she isn't an overly fussy type of girl so i have sat on my hands and kept it quite simple, well for me!!
Papers are by Maja Design,

Art Journal

Hi guys, over at Tando Creative the theme this week is anything goes, I am fairly new to mixed media but love to play so i thought an Art journal was a good way to create and play with products and then have a way to remember what works, or not lol,

I used some white Gesso, then when dry added some paints on top, I wanted the Baroque mask to be
the main feature so i kept the background subtle, I used the sequin waste mask with the same colours to add a little detail too,
The Distressed Diamond mask has some modeling paste through and when dry I painted over with some acrylic fluid paints,
Stamps from my stash finish the background off, then i took the Baroque Mask and stencil through it with black Gesso, this makes it really pop,
Well I've a lot to learn but i keep popping over to my lovely friend Pamellia's blog to get some hints and tips as she is so talented and makes some gorgeous makes,
Anyway i hope you like it and feel like having a go yourself,
If you would love to join us please click on the link at the top of the blog, we would love to see you there,

Time to celebrate

Hi guys, just thought i'd show you the latest card I have made for my neighbour, he's 79 years young, loves gardening and nature and light colours, so had to think really hard for something that fit the bill, lol
I took a sheet of February paper by UHK Gallery and used both sides, on the back side I stenciled a falling leaves stencil using some modeling paste,
The gorgeous chip board clock is by Scrapiniec, from Scrap and Craft, i added a tiny pearl in the center too,
The bricks are by Dusty Attic and i covered them with stippled on Gesso so the colour showed a little but wasn't to dark,
I printed the Happy Birthday stamp and the celebrate on my computer on kraft card stock to match in with the Ideaology stickers at the top,

Some flowers from my stash and twine, flowers and cheesecloth from The Ribbon Girl finish it off, I die cut some leaves using some heart painted papers by Lemon craft,
Do you think it's manly enough? so hard when he doesn't like dark colours, sport or beer, lol

Now for a bit of exciting news if you haven't already seen it, I have been asked to be a  guest DT for Scrapiniec sometime this year, time to be decided so watch this space, lol
Happy Crafting!!

Make A card

Hi guys i'm here today for this weeks theme over at Tando Creative which is to
Make A Card
I have used one of the fabulous zipper chip boards as my main feature,

I painted the zipper with white Gesso first then added Cobalt Teal Hue over the top swiped on with a wet wipe,
let this dry then go over with a little Antiquing cream again on a wet wipe, to finish the zipper off I added some crackle paste on the edges here and there,
I finished off the card with some gorgeous papers by Maja Design and a couple of die cuts,

A Time to Celebrate

Hi guys, I'm here today with my first project for this year for Tando Creative, it's a colour theme too so I have kept to those colours,

I drew around the champagne mask onto water colour paper then gave it a coating of modeling paste, spread thinly and quite smooth, while this dried I cut another small strip for a rim on the top of my bottle and also another top for the cork effect,
When the modeling paste had dried I painted the bottle with a mix of tinting base mixed with Prussian Blue Hue and painted the whole bottle with it,
After letting this dry i then added some stenciling with modeling paste through a distressed sequin mask here and there, I also put some crackle paste on the edges here and there too, at this stage i also added my extra rim layer cut from the water colour paper,
At this point I slightly shaped my bottle by bending it slightly in the center to give a bottle shape,
When  dry I put a little  of the Prussian Blue Hue onto a wet wipe and swiped it over the top of the modeling paste working into the centre too,
I then made a label using my computer and distressed it with distress ink then added a star coloured with silver metallic fluid paint to finish it off,
For the top of the bottle I took some gilding flakes and placed them to one side to appear as what was left of the gold foil after the cork had popped!!
I attached some more stars which i had painted with silver fluid paint onto some craft wire, along with the cork which i had painted first with yellow oxide then when dry with some more of the gilding flakes,
If you fancy having a go with this or any of our challenges just click on the link at the top of the Tando Creative blog,
